When I got the message this morning, I screamed in disbelief. I tried your two lines and they were unreachable. It was when I reached your wife that the truth of the finality of this tragedy hit me.
My boss, you came like a meteor and left on the wings of a chariot. In just a short phase, your footprint was everywhere. Your voice rose above the cacophony of other echoes, blazing forth inspiration and speaking illumination.
You were a light that could not be hidden. You shine till we all acknowledged the alzgift that you were.
I will never forget when I contacted you to speak at our Retreat earlier this year. Your words still ring in my ears.
You lit up a fire that day that is still raging in our hearts. Then, you did something that day that I will never forget. You shot a video for my wife to thank her.
That gesture showed a man that is human and humane- and that started a relationship that I cherished as long as you lived and will endure for as long as I will live. I leveraged on this relationship and you did an Instagram live interview with me at very short notice.
You went further and introduced me to your wife. You actually loved me like your family. I remember when you read my article on my escape from robbers and you called me. You thought it was a recent event. I recall our many discussions- each one always leaving me fired up.
Why did you go on Boxing Day? I think I know why. You were a gift sent to us from heaven and heaven took you back. You were fully unwrapped for us and now wrapped back to your Maker. It gladdens my heart that you knew Him.
Your passing is shocking to me. I don't know how Aunty Ivy and the children will cope but we are grateful that you touched the lives of everyone who came across you.
Swing low, sweet chariot, has come to carry you home. @threadreaderapp

Lessons I Learnt From Dr Ubong King: If You Do Not Defend Your Market and Take Over, Then Your Market Will Become The Market Others Will Share
Dr Ubong King was our Guest Speaker during the month of March at our Directorate Retreat and he spoke on our theme Audacious.
The hall was quiet as he dropped the wisdom keys during a very intense session. I’ve been mulling over his words since I learnt of his demise and I just want to reminisce on the words of a man who has now joined the saints triumphant.
Here are some take-aways:
1. The success of any institution lies in its process. 2. Business is war. If you do not defend and take over the market, then your market will become the market others will share. 3. Your strength is hidden in your confidence.
Took these pics a few weeks ago in the UAE when my colleagues and I were there to deliver a workshop. The development in this part of the Gulf in just 18years shows this is more than just the work of 'faith'.
None of China, South Korea or Indonesia is a 'Christian' nation by origin, and yet all have experienced more development than any African Country that became independent about the same time.
As you individually prepare to receive powerful prophetic utterances in a few days about your new year, please remind yourself of what I believe makes prophecies happen:
Just look around you in Nigeria, for example. 20 years ago, the ATM machine was a novelty. No bank issued debit cards- maybe just the foreign ones. There were no banking apps. You couldn't transfer funds the way we do now.
It took 7 days for your 'upcountry' cheques to clear- meaning that if someone pays you a cheque in Sokoto and you pay it in in Ibadan, you had to wait for 7 days to receive value. Later, it became 3 days.
I recall as a young banker, I used to go to the CBN Clearing House with a box that was locked by my supervisor and which could only be opened by the CBN Clearing Supervisor. I carried that box like it was my life.
My Christmas Gifts: The 2 Winners of Free Websites
After Philip Amiola @PlenipotentCo gifted me a website, I also promised to give 2 people free websites fully paid by me as a way of paying it forward- one candidate from Twitter and the other from Facebook.
I gave some rules which include the fact that the case must be compelling and intended beneficiaries must show they can't afford one. They must also demonstrate how it will improve their business.
I've selected the 2 final beneficiaries after a rigourous consideration of all entries which included background checks. I disqualified all the candidates who sent me personal messages which was against the rule.
Re: The Law of Recovery- And The Mother of The Baby Responds
When I wrote the article The Law of Recovery which I posted a few days ago, I didn't expect it would get the kind of reaction it did.
The post went viral and it was published and shared on so many blogs and school sites including WhatsApp platforms. It was just a coincidence that it was posted around the time the complaint about the Akwa Ibom school came to the fore.
My wife will bear me witness that I wrote it before then but I just waited for her to verify all the assertions before I post.
The reason he was born in a manger. Why she had to visit Elizabeth in the sixth month. Why she had to stay with her cousin Elizabeth for three months. Why Elizabeth had to hide herself for five months.
Why the wise men had to bring gifts especially gold. Why they named his cousin John. Why the angels appeared to shepherds. Why Joseph was chosen as the father.
‘Everything is clear now', Mary exclaimed with a start. With her bright but saggy eyes lightening up and her mouth agape, she let out a deep sigh that reverberated into the night.
