As I'd said yesterday, the Rajya Sabha gave me a list of MPs who have secured an EXTRA "guest accommodation" along with the "guests" occupying these.

These are prime Lutyens Delhi MP houses being given to "guests" who are not public servants in any way.

The concept of "guest accommodation" under Rajya Sabha rules was to help MPs accommodate their visitors who travel to Delhi during Parliament Sessions.

Along with VP House Hostel & Western Court Hostel, a few houses on North & South Avenue have been designated for this.

Rules of the Rajya Sabha state that these "guest accommodations can only be allotted for 3 months max.

Moreover, the pool of housing on North & South Avenue is EXTREMELY LIMITED according to the Rajya Sabha handbook.

These plush Lutyens houses are from MP housing quota.

However, BJP MPs have been abusing these "guest accommodations" for housing their party cronies on a long-term basis.

They get them an extension every 3 months & allow these cronies to continue living in plush Lutyens houses at taxpayer money.

Let’s look at some names.

1. Vinay Katiyar is the founder-president of the Bajrang Dal & was one of the prime accused in the Babri demolition case.

An extreme fanatic, Katiyar was brazen enough to say "Ayodhya done. We will now do the same in Kashi and Mathura" just a few months ago.

Vinay Katiyar continues to enjoy plush Lutyens accommodation at 220 North Avenue near Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi as the guest of BJP MP @harnathsinghmp.

Despite the 3-month rule, he's been occupying & enjoying this property for over a year since October 2019.

Vinay Katiyar occupies no government or public position. He's a hate monger who has been responsible for furthering the BJP's communal agenda as head of Bajrang Dal.

And yet, you - the taxpayers - are paying for his posh house in Lutyens Delhi which he occupies illegally.

This is but just 1 example of such abuse of rules by BJP.

Should a Bajrang Dal bigot be allowed to occupy MP Housing for over a year on taxpayer money against Parliamentary rules?

Will the BJP/media have the guts to talk about this abuse of MP accommodation by their own MPs?

This is just the 1st instance in a series of many others.

The list I have has numerous instances of MPs abusing the system to get Lutyens accommodation for party cronies.
