FIRST ON 3: Hours after people were turned away due to a "depleted inventory" we discovered vaccines were being given to close contacts. County officials say it happened due to a "miscalculation."

VIDEO: We are choosing to blur the faces of those who spoke to us after receiving a vaccine, but this was one of the exchanges photojournalist @chrisbphotos had outside the Riverpark last night.
UPDATE: @HamiltonHealth just released a press release about the miscalculation. Becky Barnes says the last person who had been waiting was vaccinated around 4:30 p.m. Miscalculation was discovered "late in the afternoon."
MORE: This was a first for nurses on site.
“Nurses were able to draw 6 and occasionally 7 doses from
some vials instead of the projected 5. This was our first day using the Pfizer vaccine and staff had no
history to project the actual doses we would have."
We have asked the health department how many of the day's 1,158 doses were administered after the last person allowed to be in line left at 4:30 p.m. Close contacts were vaccinated until 7 p.m., according to health officials.
