I'm very unsure about a lot of the Trapped!Au, but there is one scene thats crystal clear in my mind.

A god offers Akechi a chance to go back to the real world, the only price is half his blood. What he doesnt realize, is half his blood had been beside him nearly the whole time.

Of course, when the god comes to collect his blood, Joker & Alpha r right there to jear the details. Joker's panicked, because he knows how tricksters work, immediately offers himself in place of their daughter.

"What kind of god would give up such a deal? Just leave her alone."

Both Akechi & Maya r confused. "Joker... Papa what the fuck are you talking about? Why would he take me?"

Akechi looks to Maya. "Papa?"

Joker ignores the question as tendrils begin to swirl around him. "Ur the leader now Maya. You can beat this I believe in you-"

Then Joker's gone. Disappeared along with the god. Maya's in Alpha mode, not bothering to look akechi in the eye as she yells at Neo to find out what the fuck just happened, where they went, & how to get there. The rest of the thieves, both old and new are busy fighting shadows.

Akechi's brain has shorted out. Akira, the reason he wanted to come back to the real world, has taken his place, under the impression the god would take Maya, apparantly Akira's child. Which made no sense if it was after his blood...

"Hey... Alpha how old are you?"

"This is not the time!" Alpha snaps at him slicing through a shadow with her claws. "HURRY THE FUCK UP, NEO!"
Akechi doesnt budge. "It's important."
Alpha rolls her eyes & throws a takemedic Bandit's way. "I'll be 20 in June."
So 19 yrs & 7-9 months ago... Akira was- oh... OH!

"Was your deceased father... a detective?"

"SHUT THE FUCK UP! ITS YOUR FAULT SO EITHER FALL BACK OR FIGHT! YOURE DEAD TO ME EITHER WAY!"

"Was your father Goro akechi?"

Alpha freezes, then looks back at Akechi. "How the fuck do you know his name?"

Akechi takes off his helmet.

"I am... Goro Akechi..."

"Its you?? You have been alive this whole time?" Alphas hands and balling into fists. "This whole fucking TIME?"

Akechi doesnt bother to block the punch to his face. "YOUVE RUINED MY FATHER'S LIFE! IF IT HADNT BEEN FOR YOU... I FUCKING HATE YOU!"

Shes like a scared, angry little girl again, feeling so very small, but now her Papas not here to comfort her. "He sacrificed himself for me... if you hadnt been here, if I never existed, just... fuck... get out of here."

"Maya-"

"You got what you wanted. Enjoy ur freedom."

"Im not leaving it like this."

Maya pulls her beretta and aims it at his head, hatred in her eyes.

"Then youll leave in a body bag."

Akechi looks at Maya, and he can't help but see himself in her. Angry, the most important person in her life ripped away from her thanks to him. He really has become his father, hasnt he? He sees her shaky hands.

"Dont hold your breath, keep your hands steady. Aim then fire."
