1. I know most of you do not realise that I am also a Respiratory medicine specialist. Today I want to do a thread about how people could be helped to relieve the symptoms of COVID 19 Virus. Those with questions, I am offering free consultation.
2. Antibiotics don't necessarily work especially in viral pneumonia like the one which COVID 19 virus cause but if a person develops bacterial pneumonia in the presence of viral pneumonia then antibiotics are necessary.
3. Anti-inflammatory medication like Prednisolone or dexamethasone are proving to be effective in COVID 19 virus. The virus is causing the inflammation of the airways resulting in a person becoming breathless, hence the need to treat people with anti-inflammatory medication.
4. I prefer giving patients high flow oxygen than intubation, because intubation is a hazardous procedure itself. With intubation most people end up developing what we call ventilation induced pneumonia on top of COVID 19 virus.
5. Home Remedies: Kunatira though not scientifically proven some people have found kunatira (nebulisation) using traditional herbs like boiled eucalyptus tree leaves (mashizha emupuranga) helpful. Eucalyptus leaves have anti-inflammatory properties.
6. I hear people looking for ventilators, yes they are very important for treating hypoxia in people with COVID 19 virus, but oxygen does not treat breathlessness. Bronchodilators do treat breathlessness by opening up airways that is why I'm recommending kunatira.
7. Kunatira is equivalent to nebulisation just as I would do when bronchodilating a patient using ipratropium or salbutamol nebulisers.
8. Home remedies: In addition to kunatira (Steaming or nebulisation) eat food with anti-inflammatory properties like berries, avocados, fatty fish, broccoli, Bell peppers and chili peppers & green tea. Lemon is good but it has antibacterial properties that anti-inflammatory.
9. When we intubate people, we usually put the patient in prone position to improve oxygenation, so if you have COVID 19 virus I suggest that you take time to sleep on your stomach or on your side for a change. Never lie in supine position/facing upwards.
10. Struggling with breathlessness: use what we call pursed lip breathing technique – breathing in through your nose & breathing out through your mouth as if you are whistling. Ndatenda.

(1) Mnangagwa still wants Chiwenga dead despite having everything to himself.

Sanyatwe Anselem is not going to last. It is a case of "bring your enemy closer", monitor them & deal with them effectively. ED suspected Anselem was coordinating Chiwenga's resurgence whilst outside.
(2) There has been a trend of Mnangagwa bringing perceived rivals home from abroad & the next thing we hear about them, is that they are dead. Even when he had comorbidities, Major General Trust Mugoba died soon after returning home from Ethiopia where he was serving.
(3) Zimbabwe's Ambassador to the Democratic Republic of Congo, Johannes Tomana, died from poisoning soon after returning home from DRC. Tomana was Mnangagwa's foot-soldier loaded with confidential information, including the knowledge of Mnangagwa's family businesses in DRC.

(1) In July 2018, 8 months after the elections Mnangagwa took part in an election with full support from UK's then ambassador Catriona Laing. The rebel enjoyed a moment of good will. Others even forgot his role in Gukurahundi & the mini-Gukurahundi that followed in 2008.
(2) After the coup, some people said he must be given a chance. He even called his circus "the second Republic" among other names like "the new dispensation". With the help of @ZECzim, ConCourt & guns he "won" one of the most fraudulent elections in the history of Zimbabwe.
(3) In July 2018, the period of honeymoon was over for Mnangagwa. People rejected him & he chose guns, ZEC & Luke Malaba to subvert the people's will. Now consider this, since August 2018, Mnangagwa has done worse than what he did 8 months after the coup.

(1) When it was agreed that Mnangagwa would not stand a chance against Nelson Chamisa, the other faction of Zanu PF wanted Chiwenga to take over. ED argued that he would go for another term. The other faction withdrew its support for ED. Mnangagwa then created parallel structures
(2) Mnangagwa knew he was unpopular & that if the other faction implement the bhora musango strategy, he would be finished. So to prop up himself he came up with a wide range of strategies, some of which I will highlight in the following threads:
(3) a. Mnangagwa banned all ZanuPF prospective MPs &current MPs from campaigning for parliamentary seats, insisting that everyone should rally behind him. In 2018, ZanuPF MPs performed better than ED, with assistance from ZEC. ED was angry &accused his MPs of plotting against him

(1) To buy a box of matches you need x2 Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe 50 dollars notes. Chokwadi our country is screwed big time.

This is not about sanctions, but it is about @ZANUPF_Official, its leader & his cronies's penchant for corruption, which has eroded our economy.
(2) I used to go to Mashwede Village along High Glen Road & one day I had a conversation with the owner Alex Mashamhanda when I stopped over to buy one or two. These ZanuPF guys are amassing a lot of wealth. 72 year old Mashamhanda told me "masanctions tinoanzwira mu news"
(3) As a bachelor, ndakange ndaenda kuchina chemadzimai 🤣 You've to see mbinga dzinouya ipapo & the toys they push to realise that Zimbabwe is staggering under the burden of insensitive crooks, who use the sanctions rhetoric, to hoodwink the poor majority & the uneducated.

(1) The most prominent military men who lost their lives since the Nov 2017 coup are: Perence Shiri, Sibusiso Moyo, Douglas Nyikayaramba, Edzai Chimonyo & Paradzai Zimhondi. Most of these succumbed to CovED. Most of them were close to the now weakened CDN Chiwenga. Image
(2) The following are departed men that you may have never heard of but they all died post the Nov 2017. Some were retired but played a part in toppling Mugabe. Some were eliminated for what they know & were viewed as potential threat to the man on the throne.
(3) When Godfrey Chanakira died, there was a bitter tension between Chiwenga & Mnangagwa. ED wanted him declared a provincial hero, but Chiwenga resisted.

The list start with: Godfrey Chanakira. Image

(1) Events in pictures.

Dominic Chiwenga, the then brave & strategic army Chief went to China to finalise the plot to topple Mugabe. On his return, he risked being arrested & charged with treason by the Mugabe regime, but he was ahead of the game. He avoided arrest. Image
(2) At the time Mnangagwa was being roasted left, right & centre by the G40 cabal whose spokesperson was the now discredited @ProfJNMoyo. Mnangagwa was powerless & his fate was now depending on brave Dominic Chiwenga's success in executing a coup. Image
(3) On the 6th of November 2017, Mugabe made his first move. He fired hapless Mnangagwa from office. Mnangagwa then illegally escaped the country into exile in South Africa via Mozambique. Back home he kept in touch with brave Chiwenga whose plan he was now betting on. Image
