ECC memory is a type of computer memory that works much more reliably than a standard one

Intel's market segmentation policy makes ECC less accessible - and this causes so much problem

Basically Intel designed their market policy to designate ECC as a premium product

This caused huge ripple effect, ended up basically causing ECC to become very expensive, that even Google avoided it - which then caused so much problem for them:

Memory errors can be caused by cosmic rays. ECC memory is able to detect the error & correct it

Contrary to the popular opinion - memory error happens all the time. It's not a freak occurrence.

Memory errors happen quite often, it can even be reliably monetized.

Memory errors are scary because this means, among other things, that you can save XXX data - only to have it stored as YYY

Memory error can even happen in cars, and wreak havoc with its systems.

ECC memory is also much more secure - for example, the famous Rowhammer attack does not work on it.

Conclusion: ECC (error-correcting code) memory is very important.

Thankfully AMD is making it standard on their products. Hopefully this will make ECC memory much more accessible to everyone in the near future.

Their community is hit very hard by this plague. It has the highest number of COVID-19 cases per capita.

Suddenly they noticed something very strange ;

"Hey, guys, we’re all of the sudden receiving a flood of donations from Ireland!"

"What’s going on? Why us? Why is a whole country all of the sudden donating to us?"

A: Masker bedah itu sebetulnya justru untuk digunakan oleh penderita / yang sakit.

Tujuan masker bedah adalah menghindari orang lain kena nafas kotor kita. Bukan sebaliknya.

Karena itu di Jepang kita bisa lihat ketika ada orang sakit flu, maka dia akan menggunakan masker - agar orang lain tidak terkena penyakit dari dia.
