Hi, Mii expert here. Turns out, the NPCs in TLoZ:BotW use an advanced version of the Mii format. This means that with modding, you can inject Miis into the game. :)

yes... kinda. you will be losing a lot of information going backwards like that, but you can get something close.

also, many people took me doing commissions as "i'm not going to release this information to the public" - no!!! that isn't the case at all!! my website, the Mii Library, is all about making this kind of information as public and digestible as possible! (cont.)
however, there's still a lot to uncover about UMiis. not every value is known, there are still many interactions that we're unsure of, etc... documentation like that is best served whole! i wouldn't want to accidentally post false information. these things take time! (cont.)
i'm mainly doing commissions as a convenience thing. not everyone is able to/wants to risk/has the patience to mod things themselves. again, please don't take this as malicious intent!! thank you so much for your patience, i'm trying to read every notification!!!
one more thing: someone (who wishes to remain anon) also helped with some conversion stuff, like how skin color of the NPCs did not match up at all with Miis... saved me a bit of testing haha!
