XRVision demanded a retraction and apology. They deleted the story.
The @WashTimes has since deleted the story entirely, but they haven't provided any explanation or responded to repeated requests for comment.
This story was shared by @RepMattGaetz on the House floor last night after the Capitol Hill chaos.
Update: "An earlier version of this story incorrectly stated that XRVision facial recognition software identified Antifa members among rioters who stormed the Capitol Wednesday. XRVision did not identify any Antifa members. The @WashTimes apologizes to XRVision for the error."
"Thank you to the brave law enforcement officials who have put their lives on the line. The violence must end, those who attacked police and broke the law must be prosecuted, and Congress must get back to work and finish its job." -- @HawleyMO statement
“Today’s violent attack on the U.S. Capitol was an attack on American democracy itself. This was not a demonstration of any of our protected, inalienable rights. These were un-American acts worthy only of condemnation." -- @ChuckGrassley statement (in part)
"Lies have consequences. This violence was the inevitable and ugly outcome of the President’s addiction to constantly stoking division." @BenSasse statement, which puts the blame squarely on @realDonaldTrump.
