From a Hill source: Hearing that Kevin McCarthy is being pressured, and giving into, Cheney’s efforts to take time away from people like Gaetz, Scott Perry, and Boebert, and trying to give it to more moderates/establishment types on the floor today.
Another source tells me Kinzinger is the one who tweeted pushing back on it this AM.
A senior GOP aide tells me: “Time is divided by opponents and proponents...not by party. So technically opponents would be eating into Democrats' time”
ANOTHER Hill source weighs in: “House GOP leadership is fully engaged in a knock-down-drag-out effort to keep Trump’s fighters away from the mics. They are literally aiding Dems in opposing objections.”
