Appears "Storm The Capitol" protest going to the governor's residence. An organizer and emcee, Alley Waterbury, earlier said of Walz: "If you don't open our state back up we will do whatever we need to do because we've got nothing left to lose."
Seeing numerous state patrol vehicles just now driving quickly in unison near Capitol. Rhetoric had ratcheted up in last hour of rally. One speaker: "This is 1776. The time for talk is over, it's done. My brothers and sisters in Washington are doing it right now."
Earlier, I spoke with a man named Matt who identifies as state leader for Three Percenters Original. About 20 people from the group showed up clad in camouflage and openly carried rifles, pistols and other firearms while making the rounds.
“We’re here because the president who we support has called patriots to the Capitol,” said Matt, who added that he did not believe armed revolution was yet necessary. “We’re here to follow suit in our own state.”
