I was in my office ystrday, which is 5.6m/9km from the US Capitol building (on 9/11 I was in my then office, only 4m/6.4km from Pentagon).

... Here’s what I know:

1/ @AFPIHQ never condones or supports violence or lawlessness in any fashion by anyone.

2/ the US has survived far worse assaults on democracy and the US will survive this too.
