Richie cracks one eye, and then the second, groaning as the harsh light assaults his eyes. He presses the heel of his palm between them with a frown, rubbing a gentle circle.

“Fucking finally,” says a voice inside his head.

114. Richie gets to his feet, marching out of the unfamiliar room. Beyond it is a white void, but he does not slow. A comforting prickle at the base of his skull spurs him on. He steps into the light, and then he wakes.
