• Twitter expanded their civic integrity policy to address how they handle “misleading information” that relates to elections.

• Twitter labeled Tweets that they deemed false for candidates they didn’t support.

• Twitter removed Tweets in order to interfere with election results and the operation of polling places.

• Twitter placed warnings labels on Tweets from dissenters, branding them as misleading, ultimately de-amplifying accounts with more than 100k followers.

Labeled Tweets were already de-amplified through Twitter’s recommendation systems, giving individuals nothing but handpicked context so they can make less informed decisions.

In addition to the labels, they added warnings and restrictions on handpicked Tweets through a misleading information label from US political figures, and US-based accounts with more than 100,000 followers, to lesson their engagement.

Fascist Twitter called these labels “improvements” and their coordinated efforts to apply “lessons learned” from previous elections around the world in which their preferred candidate lost, a step forward in civility.
