This letter contains the same misinformation that drove the recent acts of insurrection at the Capitol this week. Many people truly believe these lies and are willing to act on them. If there were any truth to them I might be able to sympathize.
The first sentence of this letter is the only one with a bit of truth: "Well, it seems the anti-Pete Stauber crowd smells blood oozing from a wound with regard to the congressman’s stance on President Donald Trump and election fraud."
This is a valid opinion: "Yet their party left the American workers and moderate Americans long ago." Not that I agree with it.
This quote is knowingly taken out of context as an act of
sedition: "'These are words that reportedly came out of Biden's own mouth: "We have put together, I think, the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organizations in the history of American politics.'"
"CDC said it was perfectly safe to vote in person." The CDC has been at the whims of President Trump during this pandemic. This isn't a lie, but of questionable value.
I also received several applications for an absentee ballot, including one from a @RepPeteStauber connected group. This was neither illegal nor unethical.
"Then there are statisticians saying there were statistically impossible anomalies in battleground states." Come on. Pure sedition.
"Sometimes the truth lies somewhere in the middle." If this writer had any clue what the truth was I would wholeheartedly agree with his point.
