The overreaction to melee at the Capitol serves many political interests— not the least of which is silencing any criticism of the 2020 presidential election. What Joe Biden calls the “Big Lie” will be buried or else you’ll be called a traitor. My column: amgreatness.com/2021/01/11/cap…
Tweets mentioning voter fraud are flagged as a “risk of violence.” Facebook yesterday banned any reference to “stop the steal” for the same reason. Lawmakers will be punished by big contributors; Trump’s twitter account is gone for good. amgreatness.com/2021/01/11/cap…
“The much-needed investigation into 2020 election, one that McConnell admitted cannot become the “new norm,” won’t happen. A bipartisan commission proposed by Tim Scott will never see the light of day; it’s likely he will pull his bill at the risk of being labeled a seditionist.”

Ok let’s flip the script. Every alleged “conservative” and Republican insisting 2020 election was legit is defending this (a partial list):

• Majority mail-in ballot elections as new norm

• Unelected partisans such as PA SOS, WI Election Commission breaking election law...
• Extending Election Day both way before and beyond the constitutional set date

• Absentee ballots send to every registered voter, requested or not

• Large public unsecure events to collect absentee ballots like Wisconsin’s Democracy in the Park

madison.com/wsj/news/local…
•Partisan election workers filling in missing fields on certification envelopes

•Voters claiming to be “indefinitely confined” allowed to vote outside usual process

•Millions of unmanned drop boxes without chain of custody

• GOP election observers kept away, threatened

“The worst fracas on Friday erupted in Franklin Square, about a mile-and-a-half from Capitol Hill, just before Trump's swearing-in ceremony got underway. Police officers suffered minor injuries when protesters flung bricks, trash cans and other objects” nbcnews.com/storyline/inau…

Lindsey Graham now demanding a special task force to investigate the breach of the Capitol. "Sedition might be a charge for some of these people." Anyone who dared to sit in a chair belonging to lawmaker will be "sitting in jail." He will demand weekly updates from DOJ on...
these "domestic terrorists." Graham said this is "a moment for the nation to show will and determination to be a nation of laws, that anarchy shall not reign, that the Constitution controls, not the mob."
Graham claims all of Trump's accomplishments were "tarnished by yesterday. His actions were the problem not the solution. The rally was unseemly (!?), it got out of hand, and Rudy Giuliani did not help." Says the 25th Amendment isn't appropriate "at this point."

Two years ago, 67% of Democrats believed the Russians! actually rigged votes in the 2016 election
Lol 87% believed the Russians! spread fake news to get Trump elected

If you’re looking for one report that dismantles every “mitigation strategy” the experts have pushed for nearly a year, here it is. People have been confined to households, which is by far the biggest vector for spread especially between spouses... jamanetwork.com/journals/jaman…
🤦🏼‍♀️

“Modeling studies demonstrated that household transmission had a greater relative contribution to the basic reproductive number after social distancing (30%-55%) than before social distancing (5%-35%)”

Staying 6 feet apart, author conclude, not possible in home settings.
This jibes with other studies showing asymptomatic spread isn’t a thing: cases. “Estimated mean household secondary attack rate from symptomatic index cases (18.0%; 95% CI, 14.2%-22.1%) was significantly higher than from asymptomatic or presymptomatic index cases (0.7%; 95% CI).”

I sent a copy of my book on NeverTrump to a longtime prominent news reporter now commentator. He graciously read the book but said he couldn’t promote it bc he didn’t think NeverTrumpers were “bad people.”

He is wrong. These are very bad people 1/4
Here’s a short list of Christian Vanderbrouk’s hit list. This is endorsed by Kristol, Charles Sykes, and every lowlife at The Bulwark:
