Q: Why is it so hard for @GOP minor minions to recognize their part in Domestic Terrorism?

Hypothesis: Because they've been desensitized and may have even engaged in multiple acts of #MicoroTerrorism during most of 2020, and I'm talking about masks.

It hit me when I saw yet another 'anti-mask' protest at an OR TJoes. Lady said she wanted to shop, but her partner kept interjecting that it was a protest, despite the manager of the store explaining it fully. They were engaging in an act of #MicroTerrorism

Why do I call it #MicroTerrorism it reminded me of micoraggressions. Those small things everyday people do to engage in terrorism. What was their point of even going into a Trader Joes w/o a mask? my point, to terrorize the customers, and get that smug self satisfaction.

I'm immunocompromised and identified as super high risk of death due to covid due to so many underlying AI med conditions (~44%chance of death). What were these #MicroTerrorists trying to accomplish besides terrorize people like me?

I posit that this has been going on so long, that the @GOP doesn't even recognize that they've been engaged in acts of terror since early 2020. It's because of their constant #MicroTerrorism throughout the land that they don't get the big #GOPSponsoredTrumpTerroristsAttack2021

Why the #GOPTerrorists are having such an abrupt return to reality &why there is such a deep divide. They don't get that even these small things could be just as deadly. TBH, @HouseGOP were more effective in their #GOPActsOfTerror than those invading. How many D-reps are covid+?

A person choosing to go maskless in a local CVS are NOT protesting, but terrorizing ordinary citizens. Small acts of #MicroTerrorism that is rarely punished.

This is just a spitball type term. I'm using it from microaggressions but I'm open to better terminology.

Typical nerdy Jen fashion: I use hypothesis instead of theory. It's one of my pet peeves when I was teaching JrHS/HS as a biologist. A theory in science requires a hell of a lot more backup evidence than a hypothesis. Helps if discussions on evolution know the difference.

Yes, I when teaching HS, I would have students come up to me (while not even in my classes but during changing times) that they don't believe in evolution (not quite sure what they wanted TBH). They would go on how it's 'just a theory' in the everyday use of the word.

And also why I'm using the term #Microterrorism is that it so reminds me of the book (and to an extent the movie) Fight Club. How after the clubs were created for a sense of belonging, Durden then had them do small little listsl

The movie touched on it a bit where they would pick a fight with someone just because. That was their 'assignment'. They did a bunch of these #MicroTerrorism acts before the actual army style recruitment. (Jared Leto in movie)

The whole thing reminded me from the movie when Robert Paulsen gets killed. However these are NOT patriots, but terrorists (explained in the book better).
See those small #MicroTerrorism acts set the stage for violence leading to death of the Robert Paulson character.

Another nerdy Jen alert: I felt the movie was much better than the book. It streamlined things better. But the book is better in regards to talking about how one gets indoctrinated. Akin to @QasimRashid always asked questions, where/how were they indoctrinated?

To add more context: I'm disabled with multiple AI issues. I was homebound for ~10yrs due to disability. Symptoms started to get better in 2017 at least where I could go back to school.

Alas 2020 was a super hard year. Not only have all my AI issues been acting up, it seems that I may have yet another to add to my long list. I know I need to see neuro (ALL my docs want me to go) yet covid keeps me home.

I just wanted to create context. I don't like using the D word, but I just wanted some to understand why I'm doing things the way I do. My hands shake, typos ensue, i try to correct, words get lost, thoughts scatter.

I apologize if I come off rude at times (unless you are an anti-masker; then f yeah, I'm being SUPER rude to your terrorist arse, KWIM?) Just trying to type while shaking. Hard when also shaking with rage lol.
