@dbw8 @AlexBerenson 1/I have done an analysis of cumulative nursing home deaths occurring in NJ. As expected, number of such deaths per Couny is directly related to number of LTCFs.
@dbw8 @AlexBerenson 2/Counties Bergen, Hudson & Union have highest average deaths/facility (ie, values above regression line).
@dbw8 @AlexBerenson 3/Percentage of cumulative deaths in LTCFs is lowest in Essex, Hudson, Passaic, and Union counties. Thus, these counties have most extensive community spread of COVID.
@dbw8 @AlexBerenson 4/Hunterdon County has lowest cumulative COVID deaths in NJ (<100). Adjacent counties Mercer, Morris and Somerset have ~600-800 cumulative deaths, but 50-70% were in LTCFs.
