To the White Supremacist, efforts by other White people to pass reasonable restrictions on gun ownership is as much a form of racial treason as standing along with Black and Brown people for their self-determination.
For them, owning guns is not just another privilege of being White. It is the most-important privilege of all. Because they can threaten and murder anyone who stands in their way. Even if they are Members of Congress. Or children. Or other White people.
