After the 2020 I had, and the terror inflicted on me and so many others by MPD for simply saying the names of the Black people they killed, I'm extremely triggered with the military presence in this city. You will not see this Black man anywhere downtown for the rest of the month
I'm also not concerned about white supremacists coming into Black communities in DC. We have proven time and time again that Black folks know how to keep each other safe. You wouldn't know that because the narrative from police and those who love them is Black people are violent.
Most Black folks don't harm each other. Most Black folks keep each other safe. Instead of being an extended arm of the police, build relationships in your own community. We can't protect each other if we're constantly using the state as a tool to harm each other.
