As I look at photos of the "zip tie guy" I noticed a few details that may be easy to overlook when your eye is clearly drawn towards the zip ties.

Some of these details may be indicators of where he is from and possible group affiliation. ImageImage
The shirt and pants are notably expensive, and uniquely identifiable. Specifically they are the "combat field shirt" and "stalker pant" made by Kryptek. Both are in the "Typhon" urban camouflage color way. Image
Lightweight combat tops are popular among militia groups because of the velcro adornments on the shoulders, elbows, and chest, that allow them to affix their groups' identifying patches and similar flare.

Is it significant that this individual is not wearing his group's patches?

When we talk about restoration in a post-Trump America it's important to reject instincts to meet your opposition in the middle, especially when your opposition is a fascist one.

To overcome the cancers of Trumpism, Qanon, Neo-Fascism, we must emotionally understand what motivates these people and then work to root out those conditions.
Ashli, like many others who rushed the Capitol were diluted by Qanon content.

There are entire online communities that seek to weaponize people like Ashli Babbitt.

There are discord boards of nihilistic Q-Larpers who trawl YouTube predating on vulnerable or mentally ill people.

1.) The Odal rune (Thor's Hammer) on his abdomen has been adopted by many (often white supremacist) Odenist groups.

2.) The Norse Valknut (three triangles) on his chest has been coopted by US white nationalist groups and was prominent at the deadly 2017 Charlottesville rally. ImageImage
