While I obviously think the toddler analogy explains an awful lot of Trump’s behavior, this @axios story — which contains the #ToddlerinChief entry below — also shows that it is nonetheless an incomplete explanation. (1/3)
This section shows Trump’s culpability in the post-election madness and no one should forget it. (2/3).
Finally, I can’t shake this quote from the story from my head. I annoy comprehend the mindset of someone who knowingly participates in this kind of event.
P.S: Data mavens like @NateSilver538 criticized the early Fox News call on Arizona on Election Night. Given the numbers, their criticism has merit. But should we also acknowledge that Trump’s post-election politics would’ve been even more corrosive if they hadn’t made that call?

Thanks to the Capitol Police for saving the House Whip of the Leopard Eating People's Faces Party from having his face eaten by leopards.
God bless the Capitol Police for protecting this firebrand of the Leopard Eating People's Faces Party from having his face eaten by leopards.
I applaud the leader of the Leopard Eating People’s Faces Party to call on leopards not to eat blue people’s faces.

Gonna watch the season finale of The Mandalorian before the spoiler embargo cracks. Based on the reactions so far, it’s the first time in many years I’ve watched anything Star Wars with high expectations, which means...
Watched it.
Thoughts:

1) Was there fan servicing? Yes. Was the fan servicing earned? Also yes!

2) Favreau/Filoni should thank J.J. Abrams for lowering the bar and making them look like heroes.

2) An episode that pleases both @texasinafrica & @SonnyBunch is impressive. Most impressive.

At a @CFR_org virtual meeting, CDC director Robert Redfield acknowledges that for the next couple of months the pandemic will be “really rough.”
Redfield also seems to acknowledge the incoming Biden administration, stating that his tenure will end in mid-January.
Redfield flat-out states that for the next 60-90 days the United States will experience daily death tolls that exceed 9/11 and vaccine approval will have no effect on those numbers.
