The think-tank 'Institute for Strategic Dialogue' (ISD) was established in 2008 to combat extremism by targetting online 'disinformation' & promoting local projects (including seminars for policy makers & workshops for youth groups).

ISD has several programmes including Strong Cities Network (SCN) which is a policy advice programme founded at the United Nations in 2015 with funding from the US State Dept. It aims to combat far-right extremism & Islamic extremism.
