As a child of God, you need to consistently be on fire for God. Here are three things you need to stay on fire for God.

1. Word of God. This is the fuel that ignites the fire in you. The Word of God is spirit and life.

Matthew 4:4 reveals the importance of God's word for the believer. You need to be filled with the word of God. You are as powerful as the word you possess in you.

Your faith cannot grow when you don't study the word. Personal revelation and study matter a lot. As a child of God, you need to be loaded with the Word.

2. Prayer. Prayer is the oxygen that sustains the fire. You can only pray right when you pray in line with the word and will of God. Praying outside the will of God is a strange fire.

3. Right environment. Fire doesn't burn everywhere. The environment is crucial to keep the fire ablaze. As a believer your environment is important. Fellowship with fellow believers who are on fire as well.

2Cor 6:14, Acts 2:24. You need to devote yourself to the word and surround yourself with people you can share God's word with and push you forward. Be with people who ignite the fire in you.

Focus on eternity. It is the highest perspective we can have in life. Col 3:1. Where is your treasure? Matt 6:33 reminds us to seek God's kingdom above all else.

Ask for a reignition of the fire in you. Ask God to give you fresh wood. Also, ask for the grace to sustain the fire of God in your life.
