A Gartner survey of HR execs said 90% of companies will allow at least some remote work indefinitely
A survey of 32,000+ people I conducted last week said 96% of people don’t want to work in an office again full-time
Let’s hope it leads to a quality of life upgrade a generation of workers deserve
For me, traditional work meant missing my daughter walk & laugh for the 1st time
If the pandemic has any silver lining maybe it’s realizing remote is the future of living over the future of work
For companies to do this well, they need to move far more quickly
The disconnect between what people think companies are able to do and what they are actually able to do is huge
There are so many fundamental things that still have to be addressed for it to succeed
As many companies will die from doing remote work badly as do from not going remote quickly enough and losing their best people while becoming far less cost efficient
We need to stop thinking about remote as the future of work
It’s far bigger than that. Remote is new operating system for living
