BREAKING: Legendary music producer Phil Spector died Saturday, the California Department of Corrections confirmed.

He was 81.

Spector's ex-wife Ronnie Bennett called him “a brilliant producer, but a lousy husband.”

No murder charges were announced.

A grand jury charged former Louisville police officer Brett Hankison with 3 counts of first-degree wanton endangerment.
