No, the Capitol riot was not "karma" for America's international coups and regime change interventions.

Karma would be the US actually reaping what it sows.

Karma would be the US government toppled and replaced with a foreign puppet regime, and millions of Americans killed.
Karma would be tens of millions of Americans displaced by widespread violence.

Karma would be the US becoming a failed state where people are again sold as slaves.

Karma would be nuclear bombs dropped on US cities.

Karma would be America's forests soaked with Agent Orange.
Karma would be mass executions of Americans in sports stadiums.

Karma would be massacres of entire towns.

Karma would be foreign soldiers raping and killing civilians with impunity.

Karma would be foreign-backed extremists mutilating civilians and displaying their corpses.
Karma for US interventionism would be for America to collapse and burn in chaos and torture.

That would be "karma". That would be the chickens coming home to roost.

I am not saying it would be a good thing if this happened.

I am saying the US must cease brutalizing the world.

Just tell the truth. Just tell the truth. You will never out-manipulate a manipulator, either in personal relationships or politics. You can't "capitalize on" this or "leverage" that; they'll beat you every time. In the battle against the manipulators, truth is our only weapon.
I see socialist groups get behind this or that mainstream liberal agenda like "Hey we can ride the momentum of this to socialist revolution!" No you can't you sweet precious lamb. You're swimming with sharks. They'll take everything you put in and then let you have nothing.
When you're not a manipulator it's hard to understand how much better at manipulation a manipulator is than you. They're SO much better. If you're a truth teller then you need to drag the battle kicking & screaming into truth like a BJJ black belt taking the fight to the ground.

Viral #TrumpsNewArmy Video Is Liberals At Their Craziest And Scariest

"So if you were hoping that maybe liberals would chill out and get a little less crazy with Trump out of the White House, I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news."
caitlinjohnstone.substack.com/p/viral-trumps…
A new viral video calling on liberals to form "an army of citizen detectives" to gather information on Trump supporters and report their activities to the authorities has racked up thousands of shares and millions of views in just a few hours.
The hashtag #TrumpsNewArmy is trending on Twitter as of this writing due to the release of a horrifying video with that title from successful author and virulent Russiagater Don Winslow. As of this writing it has some 20 thousand shares and 2.6 million views on Twitter.

Psycho Pompeo Exits With Nary A Scratch Of Media Criticism On Him

"This is because Mike Pompeo's depravity is the 'normal' kind. The kind we're all meant to be used to."
caitlinjohnstone.substack.com/p/psycho-pompe…
My news feed looks odd as the hours count down to the end of the Trump administration. Westerners are largely celebrating the exit of Trump himself, whereas with those I follow from areas targeted by US imperialism, the man they're happiest to see the back of is Mike Pompeo.
It looks very bizarre, as this part of our weird collective adventure comes to an end, how Pompeo's tenure first as CIA Director and then Secretary of State were almost entirely unmarred by criticism from the political/media class. Image

When you realize that corporations are America's real government, the whole "it isn't censorship if it's a private company doing it" argument is seen for the joke that it is.
It's also completely specious, because the government is directly involved in the censorship.
Narrative managers keep calling on corporations (who again are America's actual government) to enact more and more censorship. Now they're pushing cable companies too.

The Artists' Rebellion

“No, you will not use my intimacy with the muse to sell more units of your novelty landfiller."

"You will not use my access to creativity making others poorer and sicker to make yourself richer."
caitlinjohnstone.substack.com/p/the-artists-…
I have this fantasy where the artists go on strike.
The writer will stand up from her desk at Raytheon and walk away without lending them another word.

The graphic designer at the State Department will turn off his Wacom and shut down Photoshop and pick up a pencil and start sketching homeless people.

I was making fifteen dollars an hour in Australia as a teenager doing normal teenager jobs in the early nineties. Businesses were fine.
This is the economic equivalent of "You support gay marriage so should I be allowed to marry my toaster?"
Someone's getting that money. It ain't you.
