If you're trying to redeem a Captain Toad code right now, Nintendo has scheduled maintenance until 4 PM PT

The maintenance was planned days ago and is not a response to the Captain Toad codes

People reporting eShop web redeem works right now if you don't want to wait to redeem the Captain Toad code on the Switch directly. It'll auto-download the game too ec.nintendo.com/redeem/#/
