Thread on Teladoc Health and a case for the addition of Genomic based healthcare to its specialities.
1/ $TDOC, the first and only comprehensive virtual care system, offering more than 450 specialities/subspecialties
including personalised healthcare, hypertension, diabetes, mental health and obesity. Teladoc Health services are presently available in 175 countries and still expanding...
2/ In our opinion, Livongo acquisition (with its specialities, AI and data capabilities) establishes Teladoc as a true telehealth giant and expands its competitive advantage over companies like $AMWL and $OTRK.
3/ Trades @ 19.87 P/S. Analysts Price targets: Low - $200, Midpoint – $244, High - $360. Management’s Q4 revenue guidance- $294M – $304M, represent 92% YoY growth. Management projects 30%-40% annually through 2023. Telemedicine is forecast to grow at 16% CAGR through 2030.
4/ Some recent news: Teladoc Health’s virtual care platform tapped by World Telehealth Initiative (after receiving investment from $INTC) to provide healthcare to developing communities in countries like Malawi, Bangladesh, Haiti – contributing to #SDG3
5/ $TDOC (through Livongo) and $DXCM Dexcom teamed up to bring Continuous Global Monitoring (CGM) Technology and Personalised Insights to people with Type 2 Diabetes at No Cost, further providing immense data to $TDOC
6/ The case for genomics to $TDOC is simple. Genomics is the frontier to the prevention and cure to several diseases, including cancer. Adding genome-enabled healthcare to its specialities could genuinely cement its place as telemedicine’s unassailable leader.
7/ How can $TDOC do this? Option 1: Build out its own genetic testing platform and solutions, a long process IMO. Option 2: Partner with or buy out $NVTA. A partnership is more feasible and preferable IMO. Option 3: Buy out a private telegenomics company like Genome Medical
"For cloud computing, we believe ARM, RISC-V, and graphics processing units (GPUs) are likely to emerge as the new powerhouse processors. Together they could scale at a 45% annual rate to $19 billion in revenue by 2030."
$NVDA ARM
3/ Virtual Worlds
According to our research, revenue from virtual worlds will compound 17% annually from roughly $180 billion today to $390 billion by 2025"...
