1/18 NBA DFS Draftkings Lineup Analysis

2nd leg of the slate double header. Cash core was 🔥🔥 this morning, so let’s keep it rolling!

Not a ton of value, but there are still some interesting options for spend-ups. This won't be an easy slate
Cash Core (priority):

Giannis Antetokounmpo - Should be a close game here, so I expect Giannis to play big minutes tonight

Christian Wood - Great matchup against a weak Bulls team. Loving Eric Gordon as well with John Wall still out
Luka Doncic - The Mavs are on a back to back, but I still like Luka today. If this game stays competitive, he could have another massive game with multiple players still out
GPP Interests (high risk/high reward):
James Harden/Kevin Durant
Kristaps Prozingis
Zach Lavine
Lauri Markkanen
Thaddeous Young
Trey Burke

Cash core was successful again! 9-game slate today. I'm excited to see the big 3 in Brooklyn today, but all way too expensive on DK. Can we talk about how Kevin Huerter is 9.5k on Draftkings?! I’m not trolling you, go check it out
Cash Core (priority):

Joel Embiid - This is a pretty cheap price to get Embiid. He burned a lot of people last time, so I expect him to bounce back big here

Malcolm Brogdon - With Caris Levert still out, it’s gonna be the Brogdon and Sabonis show
Goran Dragic - If Tyler Herro is out, I like Dragic a lot here. Should get the start and is a very high usage guy. Bam would also look intruiging

Nikola Vucevic - A solid play in a good matchup with no KAT on the other end. I like both, Vucevic and Aarom Gordon today

"Streaming Players"

This means you have an extra spot on your bench to bring in a new player off the waiver wire anytime you need to fill a spot on your roster. We're going to give some daily options for those of you that do this. Likely lower owned players who are on waivers
Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire Streams of the Day:

Jalen Brunson (2% owned)
Kendrick Nunn (19% owned) if Tyler Herro is out
Cameron Johnson (14% owned)
Doug Mcdermott (10% owned)
These are "short-term" adds and will likely head back onto waivers

Not a great slate, so I recommend playing light today. Only 2 games with no real stand-out plays, but we’re not taking any days off. Lets go!
Cash Core (priority):

Nikola Jokic - He’s the clear, obvious spend up today and will probably be pretty high-owned. The blowout is a risk factor, but he could crush if it stays competitive
Zion Williamson - Zion is here for the fact that he has a high floor. It’s an ok matchup, but there aren’t a lot of standout plays. Steven Adams is also a safe play

Isaiah Roby - Going up against Jokic will be tough, but Al Horford remains out, so he should see some good minutes

Two small slates today, so 2x the opportunity to make some money!

We’ll start with the early slate. MIA/DET has been delayed, so don’t play anyone from that game
Cash Core:

Damian Lillard - CJ is out, so expect Dame to light it up. Look for Anfernee Simons and Rodney Hood to see an increased roll as well

Kevin Huerter - Atlanta is pretty thin today with a decent amount of injuries. He’ll be in the starting lineup today
Di’Angelo Russell - Good matchup and KAT is out

GPP Interests (high risk/high reward):
Gary Trent Jr
Enes Kanter
Demar Derozan
Lamarcus Aldridge

Would’ve had a huuuuuge day if the Clippers/Kings game didn’t blow out. Still solid, but man, missed opportunities. Kind of a small slate today, but still some good plays here. We’ll have to monitor Miami and who will be available, so stay tuned
Cash Core:

Ben Simmons/Tobias Harris - With Embiid out, these two should have to do a lot more offensively. The matchup isn’t bad either

Trae Young - Excellent matchup. He’s been struggling recently, but I expect him to bounce back against a weak Portland team
Enes Kanter/Harry Giles - Expect an increase in minutes here with Nurkic out. Love the price on Giles who should fill in nicely as the backup

GPP Interests (high risk/high reward):
Chris Boucher
Ja Morant
Shake Milton/Tyrese Maxey
Dwight Howard
James Harden

Another solid core. Nurkic was on pace to deliver, but the injury is unfortunate… Sabonis keeps doing Sabonis things and Christian Wood is gonna be valuable going forward.

Good looking slate tonight! Let's keep it rolling
Cash Core:

Jaylen Brown - I like him a lot here without Jason Tatum. Marcus Smart looks intriguing too

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander - Going up against one of the worst defensive teams in the league. He should thrive. Look to Isaiah Roby in a good spot here too
Nickeil Alexander-Walker - You saw what he did last game… If Bledsoe is out, plug and play

Paul George/Kawhi Leonard - Sacramento allows the most points against in the league right now. These two should feast tonight as long as it stays competitive
