The Constitution has been rendered meaningless. It says we have 3 separate but equal branches of government, but that isn't true. Office of the President is not equal. It's the only branch which is controlled by the other 2 branches, as well as by federal union workers.
A President can do something like close a border for National Security reasons, and a single random federal judge can override them. In the 2020 election, where there are at least 15 cases in the federal court system, the federal courts refused to expediate the cases.
As we saw in 2016-2020, Congress can use impeachment, subpoenas, and hearings as a political weapon. Today, we saw Mitch McConnell threaten the president with impeachment is he pardons Julian Assange, a reporter.
We also have seen the FBI, DOJ, CIA, and the entire intelligence community, and DOD also weaponize politics against a President.
