As Ashley Biden wrote in her dad's book, when her brother Beau was battling cancer "During breakfast, he would often make me listen to what I thought was his theme song: 'You Get What You Give'" by the band:
2/ Ashley writes in "Promise Me, Dad," that even though her brother "never stopped fighting and his will to live was stronger than most," she thinks he knew he wouldn't survive.
3/ "The words to the song are:
'This whole damn world could fall apart.
You'll be ok, follow your heart.
You're in harm's way, I'm right behind'...
4/ "In retrospect, I think Beau played that song during our mornings together-- not for him but for me. To remember to not give up or let sadness consume me, consume us."
Anyway, that's why the New Radicals are reuniting tonight.

“Fox’s decision to settle with the Rich family came just before its marquee hosts, Lou Dobbs and Sean Hannity, were set to be questioned under oath in the case, a potentially embarrassing moment.... nytimes.com/2021/01/17/bus…
2/ “...And Fox paid so much that the network didn’t have to apologize for the May 2017 story on FoxNews.com. But there was one curious provision that Fox insisted on: The settlement had to be kept secret for a month — until after the Nov. 3 election...
3/“... Why did Fox care about keeping the Rich settlement secret for the final month of the Trump re-election campaign? Why was it important to the company, which calls itself a news organization, that one of the biggest lies of the Trump era remain unresolved for that period?..
Officials had been telling the public for months that because of Dems disproportionately voting by mail, and Republicans disproportionately voting on Election Day, early results would be misleading based on how states counted votes.... 1/
2/ Ohio and Texas counted vote by mail early so those states would misleadingly seem stronger for Biden than they would prove to be when all votes were counted. The reverse would be true in Michigan and Pennsylvania. We’d been reporting this for weeks to prepare viewers.
3/ Trump knew this too and it was clear he intended to mislead the country by declaring the election decided before all the votes had been counted.
What I think many of us didn’t realize is the extent to which some Republicans and MAGA media would help him perpetuate this lie.
