Remember I mentioned I make a thread on it so here it is. I am going to make it simple clear & not too much of detail. Every info you need is already out there so this is just a collation of already established facts
Start
First thing India always demonstrated a Pak centric defense strategy which is extremely low bar and by virtue of that itself it gives Pak an upper hand. China is different matter all together. The Communist China & India were military equals in 1990 but then a major war in Gulf
Many people don't know under Sadam Hussein 1990 Iraq had one of Asia's most formidable Military forces
Its army 1 million men strong, 700 Fighter Jets including Mig 29, 35 & 4500 Tanks and almost 300 Helicopter with relatively advanced Air Defense all well trianed battle hard
Iraq under Saddam Hussein was a major power bigger than India in 1990 & as per China PLA official reports more modern than China PLA. The crushing defeat of Sadam Iraq under US led allied forces modern inventory & tactics scared the hell out of China. It was the push PLA needed
PLA modernization start with vigour starting 90s compared to India which effectively failed to modernize even post Kargil & only started in 2009 but with vigour only post Doklam so almost 25 year headstart for China PLA for their modernization. PLA decided to change A to Z
1999 Kargil war
India China LAC is not a clearly demarcated line like LOC. During Kargil war China PLA after decades quietly built a road all the way to F4 however India continued Patrol till F8 China till F2. It was a no man's land a desert.
Why China built a road till F4 ?
It's entirely possible that considering how tight lipped Pak was during Kargil & the paranoid Exaggerated infiltration reports during the starting days of Kargil by Indian media & the general lack of clarity may have spooked China to build the road to protect itself from Pak
It's Possible that China was trying to protect themselves or to move troops incase Pak infiltrators capture it. In 1999 China Pak relationship was non existent & improved post Kargil starting in 2000. After Pak accepted JF17 since 2008 it improved rapidly to the iron brother
Now comes the Important thing Terrain
Why do you think the China PLA ? Stopped & pulled back in Ladakh & why do you think India had logistical nightmares in 62 whereas it was not for China beyond the infra
Terrain
Now a simple question ?
Why do you think India never experienced snowy winter? Why gangetic plains never receive snow fall even though India is located well in the northern hemisphere well above equator
Let's do an activity. Take a ruler scale & a world map. Place your scale on Kashmir, Keep it straight horizontally. Now Check how many nations are in a straight line with Kashmir & importantly how many receive snowfall. Now keep the scale over Delhi & Check the same
You will notice Delhi is in straight line with United States & even some states of Canada & plenty of Western Europe, well above Spain
This is where the term as the Crow Flies applies
So a Crow position at 9 o Clock as it flies can reach USA from Delhi passing over Europe
Yet many of the nation's the crow flies will receive snowfall but not Delhi
Why ?
Himalayas
So the Himalayas which is a Giant Natural Wall that protected Indian subcontinent from snow & severe weather effects gave rise to civilization is something you first respect
India was never Invaded by Huns the Chinese & many other tribes historically because of this natural barrier
The Part of ladakh which we hold is treacherous whereas the Part which China holds is relatively Flat plain & less mountainous due to the nature of the terrain
Why ?
I used to mention that India & China are on a collision course before
But do you know India & China have already collided ?
Natural History states that the Indian Subcontinent detached from Africa & Collided with Asia which gave birth to Himalayas
So what does it mean ?
It means what we all call Himalayas is one giant pre historic continental collision crash site
Beautiful as it is the Himalayas are one giant preserved accident site you can call it
Now time for another activity
See the picture below 👇
Some guy dug his feet in the sand & pulled back
Notice where his feet was the sand is rugged treacherous & at the edge of feet contact the sand rises & beyond the sand it's flat
That's the Terrain at LAC
Get it ? Now you understand our side of LAC
So our side of LAC is painfully treacherous whereas for China it's relatively better off due to the nature of Himalayas as it is
What does this mean ? For China it's relatively accessible whereas for us it's not
This is the first fact you need to work with b4 any analysis
What does this mean ?
It means whatever Stand off we are talking about China could have pulled it anytime between 1962 till 2020 but it didn't
Why not ? Because it wasn't its objective in past
Why now ? Because it is now its objective
Ok still but why now ? Let's guess
When 1989 Tianamen Square protest happened China for the first time was politically shaken feared it's disintegration post Cold War sharing the fate of Soviet Union, then Gulf war happened. Double trouble. This is where the communist regime of China started its Nationalist shift
Meaning the China now is more of a Chiang Kai Shek China in 2020 than a Communist Mao's China which it was till 1979
The communist party is namesake only & communism is only on paper. If anything China a Capitalist Authoritarian state run by a Pseduo Communist Party
If anyone wondered what an Authoritarian USA would have looked like or an economically successful Soviet Union would look like
The answer is China
When Mao founded People's republic he used to mention that China should neither be USA not Soviet union exactly what it is now
China has all the strengths of Soviet Union in Authoritarian Command system & none of its weakness in economy
China has all the strengths of USA in formidable economy & none of its weakness in Democracy
China considers Democracy as weak and you all know why
So China aims to succeed where both US & Soviet union failed
So by now you understand that China doesn't aim to be a super power infact it aims to be What USA was from 1990 till atleast 2012 a Hyper Power
USA is still a Hyper Power if you ask me
So by now you know that
At LAC
2 Nations
1 is looking to be the Next Hyperpower
1 which still stuck with Pak Centric defense having a stand off
After Terrain this is the second point b4 you start analysing anything
To be Continued
Absorb this first. I will explain rest later
Back again
So let's continue
Folks Tell me
What is China's greatest invention in history ?
What was the Central theme of China Beijing 2008 Olympics ?
What is China's greatest gift to human civilization ?
The answer is 1 main reason for China historical power starus
The humble & simple
Paper 📜
The greatest Chinese Invention
Why you need paper ? To write something down
What happens when you write something down ? It becomes a document
What is the purpose of a document to register an information which you can pass it on for generations
We all joke about China ancient Maps to quote a territory they claim
Please don't joke
Because Chinese are demonstrating their greatest strength skill
Documentation. Historical Documentation
The Chinese have good history of documenting stuff for millenium so they know
China mostly had Authoritarian form of Govt throughout its existence & the signature of all Authoritarian regimes is fanatical professional documentation
Chinese are the masters of it
Documents which are forensically tested are valid so when China most probably use it 2 back up
These documents reinforce China's territorial claims however China just because it possess a document doesn't mean it can take a territory but when it does it can use the document for any held territory to pass it on 4 generations to claim who never born like Xi when it was made
Now you know the power of documents
So remember what ever China does at LAC it's documenting it down to the last geo location code to reinforce it's claim for future generations
Unlike India which let go of Pak during partition & never claimed Burma China will never give up
So tell me what happens when
A Hyper Power wanna be with favorable Terrain with a history of Documentation skills which never gives up on its territorial claims meets an opponent which has a history of letting go of its claims out of good will?
You know what hyper power wants
China wants us to drop the claim on Aksai Chin
I tweeted in June this stand off is not about any damned fingers or Patrol points or Claim lines or 1959 line
It's our Claim on Aksai Chin & as long as we keep our Claim it's a defeat for China
If you ask me I say Fuck China
So don't worry about what China builds on its side of the LAC
China holds nothing as long as we claim Aksai Chin & we will continue to claim
China is welcome to bring 1 billion troops to LAC or start a war with us
But Aksai Chin will always be ours

Now his dad and his fellow LMG crewman carried an extra barrel despite it being very heavy
In their first engagement the PLA charged at their positions when they changed 2 barrels, but becoz they had a extra 3rd Barrel they were ready and it was a Turkey Shoot 😂
Ans :- Against the SU 30 MKI on Feb 27 Yes. When a BVR is fired a Fighter Jet has to perform evasion to get away or risk shoot down. When PAF fired the BVRs the SU-30s had to follow protocol but they returned the PAF F-16s ran away.
