There are some issues that need to be discussed and effectively managed first.

US Public Schools, especially those funded in low/pooe tax base areas already have overflowing classrooms re: # of kids per teacher & # of kids per sq ft re: seating & desks... whereas restaurants
1/
have more room btwn tables etc.

Newer strains are far more contagious & some do not recognize vaccine immunity.

Returning to school is far more important in some respects than resuraunts but that doesn't solve the primary dilemmas involved in getting kids sadtly back in 2/
the classroom.

More if left unsolved BEFORE SENDING KIDS BACK TO CLASSROOMS such a policy presents high risk re: CV19 spread, infection and mortality rates among Af-Am & POC kids & their families already experiencing 3-4 times the

mortality re: CV19 (vs White people) in already overcrowded schools.
