Unfortunately, the Republican Party is not a conservative party or even a party that believes in democracy. They are a fascist party and must be referred to as such, and we must never unite with fascists.
The Republican Fascist Party orchestrated a terrorist attack against the United States to overturn the results of an election. They are still spreading lies and refuse to accept the results. They chose Trumpism and QAnon over conservative principles. The party is too far gone.
The RFP has abandoned traditional Republican voters in favor of authoritarianism. Just look at the censures by the Arizona GOP today against Jeff Flake and Cindy McCain, or the Hawaii GOP tweeting its support of Q. These fringe ideas are now mainstream in the party.
