Forests are part of nature that should be preserved. One-third of the land on earth is a forest which plays an important role in building infrastructure in life.

A lot of land expansion was carried out for the personal benefit of humans which eventually took over the forest.

1. Keeping the Earth Cool
Forests are parts of the earth that are able to conquer the heat and absorb natural and human-produced carbon dioxide. The existence of forests is very important to prevent global warming. Plants in forests need carbon dioxide to carry out photosynthesis

2. Creating Rain
The environmental benefits of forests are regional weather effects. Forests will also create their own climate. For example, in the Amazon forest, it is able to create air conditions where it can make local rain needed by living things to human agriculture.

3. Preventing Natural Disasters
The source of water comes from the forest, where when rainwater falls on the ground it will be stored by tree roots. If there are no trees, water will not be stored and can become a source of natural disasters such as landslides.

Forests also keep the air temperature on earth from getting too hot, because hot air will trigger natural earthquakes.

4. Housing Various Animals
The benefits of forests for animals are their homes. There are millions of kinds of animals in the world that take shelter, forage, and reproduce there. Forests are also where the food chain occurs. If the forest is gone, where will the animals live?

The reduction of forest land has had an impact on endangered species, many of which are already extinct.
Not only biodiversity animals also grow in the forest. With this biodiversity, humans can also survive.

For example, worms will fertilize the soil so that the nutrients in the soil are maintained. From there, many plants can be grown and consumed by humans.
