She called the '18 midterms “an Islamic invasion of our government”

She said Dems are “trying to keep the black people in a modern-day form of slavery”

“The most mistreated group of people in the United States today are white males"

McCarthy expressed outrage, calling her words "appalling"

But to the dismay of MANY members/operatives he did nothing to block her ahead of her runoff vs surgeon John Cowan

GA Rs warned she would be the next Steve King, a disaster for the GOP in 2022

Then when we wrote again in August, McCarthy formally declared neutrality in the race, a stance that did not rally donors

Some anti-MTG Rs made a super PAC & cut an ad, waiting for an infusion of $$ that never came. Neither did a Trump tweet for her rival

In an Aug interview, her opponent John Cowan warned an MTG victory could hurt Rs in the #GASen races & in #GA06 + #GA07 — they lost all 4

His words: "I want to protect the Republican Party. She is the antithesis of the Republican Party. And she is not conservative — she’s crazy”
