Here are some key issues we need to solve if we truly care about an equitable education for students and a safe return: 1) Equitable reopening planning with student voice, 2) Safe & accessible public transportation, 3) Investment in digital equity, 4) Full-time nurses with
adequate resources, and 5) Cancellation of standardized testing for the remainder of the year.
No one will fight for the students like students. As we support the BTU and teachers it is important that the student voice is also being magnified.
