Another Safety atop draft rankings is Moehrig who would also be a good consideration for the #Raiders. He's a long FS with decent speed and great IQ for the backend. Let's take a look #RaiderNation

Trevon is great against the run, he's a willing tackler which is always what you're looking for being the last line of defense. He comes flying your the backfield with bad intentions at times and can look over aggressive at others. He's a sure

Tackler but one of his areas to work on are angles, he takes a lot of bad angles because he liked to start aggressive which is good but he can be caught off guard. What comes with this aggressiveness tho is his ability to get it right for a few TFL though

One of Trevon's strong suits is his play recognition and his overall football IQ. He does a great job sniffing out plays and jumping on them. Nothing is more indicative of this than his ability to recognize and stop the screen game. He processes and attacks quickly.

Moehrig does a good job in coverage as well but had limited experience as a single high safety and questions if range definitely exist. He should have enough to get the job done if he plays smart and pro active ball. His route recognition plays well into this and film study.

He can sometimes get aggressive and it costs a few receptions but he's got good acceleration to close if it happens. One other thing with his eager nature noticed was pursuit of ball carriers in the run and after the pass he doesn't always take a smart approach but trends to

Lean to trying to be too ambitious in his wanting to make a better play then just making a play. He's definitely got some ball skills but a little less productive than other top FSs with only 7 ints in 3yrs but has managed 21 PBUs in the same time

There Moehrig another good prospect the Raiders will consider while trying to find their guy to patrol the backfield making plays.
