Checklist for Scholarship Applicants:

1. Transcript/Statement of results.

2. Certificate, if available (or Notification of result).

3. Proof of English Proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL, or Medium of instruction letter). In the UK, some Universities accept a credit pass in WAEC

instead of other proof of English. GRE (Mostly required by U.S schools).

4. Curriculum Vitae (CV)/Resume.

5. Published literature(s) (journals) (sometimes optional but it is an added advantage). Portfolio (Sometimes required from those in Architecture and related fields).

6.Two or three recommendation letters from Professors or Associate Professors. One of the letters might come from a Manager at work (if you have professional work experience).

7. International passport. This is a vital document to leave your home country.

8. Faith in God.

Don't be a miser in your scholarship pursuit. If capable, please write standardized tests otherwise, look for sponsors e.g @iScholarInitia1. These tests will improve your profile.
