The Mentorship Programme for Freelancers (Upwork Course)

A Thread
Five million.

That's roughly how many client accounts "live" inside Upwork's database.

Despite that, a staggering number of freelancers ever manage to get any kind of traction on the platform.

They set up a profile, blast out a few proposals, then they wait.
Days go by. Then weeks.

Nothing happens. It's almost like there's nobody on the other end. As if Upwork is somehow... broken?

So what do they do?

They send out MORE proposals.
Except this time, they put even LESS effort in because they’ve already convinced themselves it’s a waste of time.

Sound familiar?

Here's the truth:

Being a successful freelancer isn't just about knowing a freelance marketplace, you have to know how it works.
The reason you're not getting enough clients (or any at all) is you don't have a guide, a mentor to hold you by the hands and show you how the platform works.

Yes, there are strategies that can help fast-track your progress on Upwork.
Many freelancers spend years figuring out how Upwork works, and most throw in the towel long before then.

But you don't need to waste years of your life trying to figure out how to make Upwork... work.

You just need a system.

A proven formula.

A mentor
(Without it, you're just throwing sh*t a the wall and hoping something sticks)

The good news is, that's EXACTLY what I'm offering you today.
THE MENTORSHIP PROGRAMME FOR FREELANCERS:

It's a two weeks live course that allows you to predictably and repeatedly secure new clients from Upwork whenever you feel like it.
You can spend the next few months or years trying to figure it all out yourself, or you can skip the BS and follow my proven system.

Here's the thing:
Upwork allowed me to break out of the traditional grind, start a freelancing business from nothing, and get well-paying clients with no experience or qualifications.

There are very few opportunities online that offer such a fast and achievable pathway to success.
In the course, you'll learn:

How to find and validate a profitable Upwork niche (SUPER important step)
How to create a high-converting profile (even if you have no experience or qualifications)
How to price yourself higher than everyone else and still win contracts (and exactly what to charge in your niche)
How to use my proven job selection strategy to double-down on jobs that actually convert (this was a game changer for me)
How to craft engaging proposals that consistently get a response (using my battle-tested formula)
How to handle negotiation and close clients like an absolute boss

But that's not all.
Unlike most courses out there I don't just tell you what to do, and I don't just tell you how to do it...

...I actually get deep in the trenches and SHOW you the exact process you need to follow to get results.
What you get inside this program is a series of easy, digestible and highly-actionable lessons that you can start implementing for results right away.

Sounds awesome, right?
See some amazing testimonials from my students:
Freelancing works all the time ONLY if you're properly trained and mentored.
One of my strength is client retention. I absolutely love teaching the outline with great zest.
FAQs

Q1: Is this course for people who are new to Upwork?

It doesn't matter.

Whether you've just started out or you've been at it for years... my training is for ANYONE who want to consistently win new clients on Upwork.
I cover some foundational topics in the course to help newbies get up to speed, but I don't waste any time getting to the more advanced strategies that even Upwork veterans will find valuable.
Q2: What if I don't have any marketable skills OR I don't know what service I should offer?

Not a problem.

Having some existing skills before going into this is advantageous, but it's not necessary.
In fact, I started copywriting on Upwork without ever having done a copywriting job in my life.

The great thing about Upwork is that you can learn as you go, and I'll show you how to choose, validate and make money in practically any niche EVEN if you have no existing experience
Q3: Is this course for writers/designers/developers/etc?

Again, it doesn't matter.

My system taps into specific principles and psychological triggers that aren't tied to any given skill-type. The strategies are the same for everyone, so it works across the board.
Whether you're a freelance writer, designer, developer, marketer, VA or anything else, you'll still be able to take FULL advantage of everything inside the course.

I get a lot of questions in my DMs like "How do i become a writer?", "How can i learn writing?" No matter how long you’ve been in this business, whether you are new or a seasoned freelance writer, chances are, becoming a better writer will be super important to you.
After all, writing is a skill. It’s something you learned to do, and it’s something you can learn to do even better with a little hard work and practice.

For freelance writers, designers, developers and marketers

A Thread.
Freelancing sites are not the only place you can find work.

In a previous thread, I showed you how to get freelance and remote gigs through sending of cold emails, twitter and google. Most of these methods involve contacting the clients directly and sending your pitch via email.
I can’t stress it enough how important your first email really is. This is the email that your potential clients are going to use to analyze you and your skills.

If you just want to get to the juicy bits, please feel free to skip. But if you’re wondering why I chose to pursue a career as a freelance copywriter, then read on! My name is Olamide and I’ve worked in digital space for quite some years now.
I’ve been lucky enough to work for an agency, for myself and even a short stint in-house at the beginning of my career. I’ve worked in paid social media, PPC and SEO…so why did I leave that all behind for copywriting? For me, it was a personal choice.
