A city court in Delhi will hear freelance journalist @mandeeppunia1 plea seeking bail. Punia was arrested on Saturday night while he was covering the farmer's protest at Singhu border. He has been charged with assaulting a police officer among other charges.

The bail hearing has commenced in @mandeeppunia1 case has begun. Advocate @SarimNaved is narrating the sequence of events. Points out that the incident took place in the evening and the FIR was filed seven hours later.
The public prosecutor opposed bail plea submitting that even though the accused alleged he is a journalist he didn't give any credentials to back his claim.
The court has directed the production of @mandeeppunia1's credentials before any decision taken.
The @DelhiPolice has sought the dismissal of @mandeeppunia1 bail plea on the grounds that he may "instigate the protestors and create a nuisance" at #SinghuBorder.
