NSFH Research has sent @gofundme and @musa a letter asking them to uphold their commitment to racial equality by deplatforming white supremacists like Sarah Dye of Schooner Creek Farm who use GFM to fund their activities. A thread/ nospace4hate.btown-in.org/open-letter-to…
@gofundme@musa let’s begin with the problem that links to Sarah Dye’s Go Fund Me are found across white nationalists platforms online- including StormFront and on the BitChute page for British Neo-Nazi Mark Collett.
@gofundme@musa Dye recently appeared on Collett’s DLive broadcast for Holocaust Remembrance Day. He said: “It’s very telling that we hear about Nazism, the Holocaust etc etc ad infinitum but we don’t hear about the regimes that murdered… white Christians…”/
Collett goes on, “They were killed by a certain ethnic group that has a certain interest in promoting the idea that the Holocaust is the greatest evil that has ever happened.” Dye proudly advertised her guest appearance on this broadcast on her own podcast page for Hearth&Helm.
But @gofundme@musa let’s talk about neo-Nazi rhetoric on her Go Fund Me page comments. Like this one below in which donor John King references a Nazi slogan: “the sun will never set on the Reich”. Are comments like this consistent with GFM’s stated commitment to racial justice?
Dye is also using her @gofundme page for recruitment purposes across her social media accounts. Including a Facebook video shot by Kerrick Martin aka “Fascinema”, the film maker who created white nationalist recruitment videos for the American Identity Movement.
There are some things which folks can report this @gofundme account for:
-fraudulent, misleading statements and misrepresentation
-violations of the terms and conditions about user content that promotes intolerance of any kind relating to race, ethnicity, national origin etc.
