We've also been working on expanding this Pokemon game with rules, cards and a dice to roll.
The board is now set. Just need to finish printing the cards.
I'm gonna try to keep one thread, so people can't mute it if they don't care and keep up if they do.
First Scyther failed halfway (broken supports) and the second Scyther lost a blade on one arm due to a failed support. Between the two, I can make one good one.
*CAN mute it.
Anyway, Golem is painted now.
Graveler is finished now. The entire Geodude evolution line is complete. This one was NOT a print, but still a creation. I took the old Burger King spinner, glued foam scraps to it, installed action figure arms and repainted it.
So this is what I was talking about with the cards.
Each square on the board is colored and you'll pick a card accordingly. Could be a Gym, Battle, Wild Pokémon, Event or Encounter.
Here's a sample of some of the cards you can pull...
Some birthday luck on her side. Pulled two rare cards and now she gets to catch Mewtwo.
No work today, so I'm back at it. Trying to finish painting the ones I printed two weeks ago.
Ok, Koffing came out cool as fuck.
Don't think I ever showed Scyther. Finished him last week.
I think I may have shown these two before, but I wanted to put them in this thread. I printed Arcanine and Rhydon months ago. Custom made Giovanni also.
Not a 3D print this time, but I found this broken Torterra on eBay last week. Cleaned him up, made a tree from scratch, gave him some dirt, grass and moss and repainted it completely. Now he's cool.
Torterra looks even cooler on the battlefield. I never played whatever game where he was a starter, but he did work with me on Pokemon Go, so I needed to add him to our game.
Probably my last update for this. Don't think I can reasonably go much further than this although there's still a few Pokemon left to paint. If I do get to them, that'll be the final update. Until then, here's the collection.

I should say, that's after 10 years and developing a following and name.
At first, you won't make much. I remember getting $200 a month a Cincyjungle after a couple of years of doing it in my free time.
That kept me happy as I didn't chase it hard. It was a hobby.
I made a little more until Bleacher Report called and offered a scouting opportunity. That lasted two years and paid $2,000 a month during the NFL season. That was my first "big" one.
