Protip: Never come to me thinking by telling on the Democrats for being failures at life that you are somehow getting to me. I can out diss the Democratic Party and require no assistance and it is not a bonding event.

Equally, you bring nonsense about how good Republicans are, it's time to move on. They are complete crap.

I am an independent progressive lefty and I hate both Parties.

So just know my evisceration of either party is not an invitation to recruit me.

If you don't understand econ and think taxes pay for Federal spending, we don't have a lot in common. That's economic illiteracy. Everyone knows the Federal Government doesn't spend tax money. Taxes are deleted at the Federal level.

So not getting this key issue right means damn near every single other issue you speak to will be incorrect.

If you aren't for a Green New Deal... We probably do not share the same sensibilities or values.

If you aren't for universal, free health care as a Right, we probably are not on the same team.

If you paid your student debt and therefore think no one should have their debts canceled, you are definitely not on my side and I probably CANNOT stand you whether I know any other facts about you.

If you are ok with making people's lives more difficult you are an absolute asshole.

If you are ok with us going to war to clear and create new markets for global corporations all in the name of defeating terrorism, We are not on the same side, page or anything.

If you are ok with means testing... You are probably a neoliberal and an overall bad person.

So don't think because I attack Democrats or Republicans that I can tolerate the other side any better.

I want to change the world and have all but given up on electoral solutions.

I won't be nice.

I am not open to moral cases against helping people because there are no moral cases to be made for not making life easier on the working class.

I am open to a labor movement made up of workers and class based political struggle.

I am not open to partisan games. Ever.

Whenever there is a political struggle... Capital is as patient a killer as they come. A look back at France and you see royalist, monarchists waiting to purge freedom in the name of class privilege. Capital is always there. Revolution must be also. 1/x

Always diligent. Never compromising our values. Always ensuring the forces for the people are at the ready against enemies who would enslave us.

A revolution can happen... But without resolve and continued resistance and governance unapologetically for the people by the people... Well... It's a blip on the radar... A moment. No way to sustain without systems and organization.

Democrats love reducing deficits & balancing budgets. This "fiscal conservatism" is LETHAL to millions of poor & vulnerable individuals across the country.

The GOP pushes for the same stuff while simultaneously cutting taxes on the wealthy & reducing programs that serve the poor

If you are ok calling out people as racists, homophobes, misogynists, bigots and murderers for being pro life or pro choice, how is calling a fiscal conservative who kills the poor a murderer by proxy or an economic illiterate any worse?

Austerity is often founded in bigotry. But it is equally supported by economically illiterate people.

All of these "belief systems" are born in ignorance.

All of them lead to pain or death.

So why is identity politics acceptable but economic literacy not?

State based medicare... under the best of circumstances, is a TERRIBLE idea, why?

Your state would create an unsustainable blue print set to fail and prove "socialism don't wurk" and it would kill healthcare.

There is no exception. It's simple economics.

The Feds issue the money. Healthcare is super expensive when you arent the currency issuer.

Pensions are Super expensive when are not the currency issuer.

Earthquakes are super expensive when you are not the currency issuer

Wildfires are super expensive when you are not the currency issuer.

This isnt a feelings game.

"What if I told you that everything we have been taught about US economics is wrong? Before your eyes start to glaze over in anticipation of boring economic jargon, let me acquaint you with 5 simple facts that might just wake you up.

1. Not a single dollar of those federal income taxes you pay to the government every year go to finance anything. As soon as your taxes are received by the government they are in effect destroyed.

2. The US government can never “go broke” because they are the sole issuer of US dollars and can authorize more money when needed. I can see you shaking your head, thinking “this woman must have a screw loose.

Our Federal Government doesn't need revenue. Taxes serve as a gas pedal or brake for an economy. They drive the need for currency. They stave off inflation and can be used to break up pooled concentrations of wealth that are destructive to a functioning democracy and economy.

So what's the fuss about marginal income tax rates and "fair share"? Why the chatter about how will the government get money to fund its operations?

First we must decouple the idea that spending and taxing are linked. Taxes are not a financing operation at the federal level. In fact, taxes are destroyed upon receipt. You see, the dollar is nothing more than a tax credit. A unit of measure. Just like a run in a baseball game
