A 🧵 on the lockdown hypocrisy of @DPJHodges
1. Since coining the term 'Lockdown Denier,' @DPJHodges has been (over)using it to attack anyone who even dares question whether the benefit is worth the cost, most notably @ClarkeMicah & @JuliaHB1

As you can see, he's a staunch supporter of the lockdown ⬇️
2. In the here & now, @DPJHodges is fully on Team Lockdown (Go, Team!) However, back in March, he was on Team Lockdown Sceptics. That's right, boys & girls, he's played for both teams.....

dailymail.co.uk/debate/article…
3. By April, lockdown is cheating him out of his life, children are dying alone & the nation is losing its soul (or something equally as nauseating) - but, we're saving lives over here, so who cares about the cost. Am I right?

dailymail.co.uk/debate/article…
4. As it turns out, @DPJHodges cared a great deal about the cost. What about all those lives?

dailymail.co.uk/debate/article…
5. Why is this argument 'daft,' @DPJHodges? Lockdown is effective in stopping the spread of the virus, so surely starting it earlier would have stopped the spread earlier? They are effective, aren't they?

6. 'Mad science'? I wonder what @DPJHodges is referring to here? Surely not the demonstrably watertight science behind the lockdown?

dailymail.co.uk/debate/article…
7. Why, indeed! It's almost as if they don't work, isn't it?

9. I'm not sure Keir Starmer is going to be much help. He's not one of those crazy Lockdown Deniers, is he? You know, the ones who say there's no scientific proof that lockdowns work?

dailymail.co.uk/debate/article…
10. Aaaaand, there it is - full blown Lockdown Denial.

11. It's no wonder he's so bitter - he knows lockdowns don't work. He also knows, if you want to be in the club, you have to play by their rules....

dailymail.co.uk/debate/article…
12. I could leave it there, but as I'm a twat & @DPJHodges insists that no-one has ever been as wrong as the 'Lockdown Deniers,' here are a few examples to refute that:

13. Yes, we can all stop pretending that Britain might leave the EU.....

telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopic…
14. I don't know if this is about the election or the Clinton Body Count. Either way, it's wrong...

15. My personal favourite - when a Jewish Labour supporter informs him of they'd still vote Labour in spite of Corbyn, @DPJHodges accuses them of being 'Corbyn's useful Jewish idiot' 😂

🩺 THE NHS CRISIS 2020 🩺

Unless you've been living under a rock (& I envy you, if you have), you'll be aware of the current crisis facing the NHS.

The UK media would have you believe this is unprecedented, but are they right?

Breaking news or broken news?

🧵 A THREAD🧵
1. Before we delve into the archive, here's a reminder of media reporting on this crisis. Surprisingly (& suspiciously), the BBC aren't freaking out:
