“Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry on Friday sued a reporter for The Advocate and The Times-Picayune over a public-records request she filed, asking a judge to issue a declaratory judgment denying the request and seal the proceedings.”

Here she goes again.
South Dakota’s Governor who loves to proclaim she’s a small business/rancher knocking medical advice.
She’s wrong. Masks work.
She’s playing to a base.
Masks aren’t false hope.
They’re hope for millions waiting for a vaccine.
.@govkristinoem is consistently misleading people when it comes to public health guidance. You would think that she would have stopped this nonsense after her state led the world on a per capita basis for deaths and hospitalizations. But she didn’t.
She’ll blame, as has in the past, national media for “attacking” her.

It’s accountability.

I shocked myself when I saw the clip of my @CBSThisMorning report. I didn’t realize I had a tic right before I started talking. Tics are due to Tourette’s, which I’ve been open about. I think that’s why I wasn’t embarrassed once I saw it.

South Dakota led the world, per capita, - for a while - in both deaths and hospitalizations due to COVID-19.
But their Governor said this tonight...
She said the science told them they couldn’t stop the virus. The science has also said masks work. Mask mandates work. But this governor refused a mask mandate and in her statewide public service announcements she doesn’t tell people to wear a mask.
South Dakota does now lead the country in terms of vaccine roll out. That, is very good news.
