So, I was at the barn with Mrs Goldfish the other day. I was talking to her co-worker about #StarWars.
He didn't quite buy the idea that Rey was a Palpatine.
It would imply he had a child; that means he had sex.
"Who would sleep with that?"
Buckle up, it's thread time. 🧵1/7
Thing is he wasn't always some decrepit avatar of evil in the world.
He was originally a, presumably, elected or atleast appointed Galactic Senator for Naboo.
And prior to the events of Revenge of the Sith looked like a normal human being.🧵2/7
So Palpatine was charismatic enough and looked good enough to be a political powerhouse at a galactic level.
On top of that Sith's guiding principles are strength & passion.
He could have undoubtedly Wooed a large portion of the galactic population if he so desired.🧵3/7
On top of that, Palpatine isn't just an opportunist.
He's a grandmaster manipulator & planner.
He didn't just manipulate Anakin, Very powerful force user, into turning on loved ones.
He orchestrated a coup on a galactic scale. He was elected & democratically given his power.🧵
He was *cheered* for dissolving the Senate and republic, for forming his empire.
Given that Rey is his granddaughter and not daughter, he may well have conceived prior to his disfigurement when he was a political powerhouse. 🧵5/7
Given his ambitions for power and life unending, It makes sense that he would conceived a child(ren) to use as apprentice(s) and or as powerful force sensitive mortal vessel(s) for himself. 🧵6/7
He also had contingencies for his contingencies.
Order 66 had 65 other possible orders before it and more after it.
Him surviving the reactor shaft makes less sense than him having children & grandchildren. 🧵7/7

We'll talk about ourselves.‡ We'll want to walk around.
It's *very* counter-intuitive, but that's what ADHD listening will look like.
Like we're not at all. What's worse is we will probably forget and it'll look even more like we weren't. 🙃
🧵
Marked because they're a confirmation that an ADHDer is *actively* listening.
*Interruptting means by listening, you gave us an associated thought or memory & it's important/relevant enough it needs to be said before it's forgotten, or we blurt it out because poor inhibition.🧵
