All this #Texit talk has got me thinking about what makes Texans different. Tell me if I got it right. What do Texans believe? #1 - Texans believe in personal responsibility. It’s your job to take care of yourself instead of relying on handouts from others.
What do Texans believe? #2 - Texans are kind and help their neighbors because it’s the right thing to do, not because some government pinhead forces us to. Everybody needs some help sometimes, just don’t think people owe it to you. #Texit
#3 - Texans believe everyone has the right to speak their mind. You should do it kindly, but if you want to run your mouth and show everyone you’re a jackass, you still have the right to. Just don’t complain when you don’t get invited over for supper. #Texit
What do Texans believe? #4 - Texans are winners. We work hard. We play fair. We get the job done and get paid for the added value we offer, not for being the son of the vice-president. #Texit
#5 - Texans believe in God. Some may find him riding across the plains, or singing hymns in the church choir, or sitting under an oak tree. You are free to look for God anywhere you want to, but that means you gotta leave other people alone so they can look where they want to.
What do Texans believe? #6 - Texans believe in guns. Guns are the great equalizer. They make small guys as powerful as big bullies, and they help ladies defend themselves against perverts. The even work for patriots against pinko/commie governments, when necessary. #Texit
What do Texans believe? #7 - Texans believe in family. It’s our responsibility to respect our parents and raise our kids right. Our kids don’t belong to your school. We’ll educate our kids anyway we see fit. #Texit
#8 - Texans believe government is a necessary evil. It works best when it makes a few rules we all can understand, and punishes rule-breakers no matter their skin color, checkbook balance, or last name.
Government works worst when some people use it to try to take someone else’s stuff. Like when lazy people use government to steal money from hard-working winners. Government should stay small, simple, and out of my business.
What do Texans believe? #9 - Texans believe in science. Like genetics. Boys are boys, and girls are girls. Love who you want, but boys should play in boys games, and girls in girls games. #Texit
