iyaaa. im the owner of this sambal since 2017. at that time i sold this sambal kat fb tp sbb tak laku we had to close down. i had to let go my staff too. burnt all my savings berpuluh ribu. i told my sister to give me 4 years to rebuild balik branding. this is how it went:
in 2017, i spent two months utk develop sambal king. setiap hari balik dari office aku pegi beli cili kat supermarket, balik rumah and try masak. lepas dah develop resepi, aku try jual 200 botol my fb page. ini video promo: fb.watch/3vyNV7GzLu/
alhamdulillah video tu viral and smua sold out. tp disaster. the first batch we sold dalam botol plastic. semua pecah sbb aku tak tahu method utk preserve sambal. we had to refund all 200 bottles and aku murung kaw2 time tu sbb dh kecewakan pelanggan
lepas dh buat mistake tu, aku belajar cara simpan sambal dlm botol kaca. alhamdulillah finally tahan lama. and disebabkan video penyet ni still viral, demand masuk beribu nak beli
disebabkan permintaan tnggi, aku terus all out buka production center. i hired a team, kluarkan savings, beli equipment etc. a few weeks after that fb tukar algorithm and my views dropped bnyk. so bad sampai xde org beli sambal. aku clueless time tu sbb dh habis duit savings
so i told my sister to quit. we moved out, jual balik peti sejuk chiller etc. i also let go of my staff sbb aku dh x mampu nk bayar. since then my sister ckp she wants to continue selling, tp buat kecik2 je
in 2018 aku mula azam baru utk build personal branding. aku tebalkan muka utk buat video masak kat IG and tnjuk my face. aku buat lawak2 cringe kat video sampai aku rasa malu gila. bila my video went viral on IG, ramai suruh aku start jual brg sementara famous
i said no. i’m not ready yet. sambal ni still lg ada masalah. bau hangit still tak hilang. 4 years later, in january 2021, baru aku ready utk release
so sepanjang 4 tahun ni we sold sambal king secara kecil-kecilan. sebulan terjual tak sampai 100 botol. tapi dari sini i developed r&d utk improvekan sambal ni. dulu awal2 sambal ni selalu hangus, botol pecah sbb packaging salah. it took me 4 years utk r&d sepenuhnya
the product you see today is the hardwork that i’ve spent for the last 4 years. utk relaunch balik, i had to rebrand the name sbb nama sambal king is too generic and self proclaimed. that is when nyet was born. some packaging details i still maintain sbb aku sayang design ni
from r&d resepi, to design logo, video promo, masak sambal, smuanya aku buat dari A-Z. but now since we are growing, aku dh developed a team to operate day to day. i also rehired the staff that worked with me in 2017
the moment i sold all 10,000 bottles i wanted to cry because nobody knew how long it took me to get here. i lost berpuluh ribu savings dulu menjual sambal sbb tak pandai pape. tak tahu marketing lansung
sampai skrang aku tak remove bio kat sambal king. some people yg beli sambal king masih contact sampai skrang utk beli sambal tu. i have to inform them that i’ve moved the brand to sambal nyet. sbb tu the bio is still there
dari dulu sampai sekarang kami menjual sambal ni dibawah syarikat Rasapop PLT and i own this company with my sister. I developed fb rasapop in 2016, registered Rasapop PLT in 2017 sbelum buat personal branding di IG bermula 2018
bila sambal nyet sold out laju, ramai tnya kenapa tak cepat2 expand. the reason is aku dh pernah gagal dlu sbb laju sgt expand. i learned my lessons, and this time im taking it one step at a time
i hope this explanation will give you a better understanding about sambal nyet. ini bukan sambal oem yg sub kat mana2 company. i spent my own savings and tears for the past 4 years to create it 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Regarding issue semalam, ini wayforward for improvement:

1) i have removed all manager’s contacts from social media. for now i sendiri akan manage all inquiries until ada new replacement
2) for the time being i akan stop sekejap buat video utk clients, including food products, restaurants or seminar etc. i want to focus on doing what i love dari 7 tahun lepas, which is video masak
3) I nak personally minta maaf dengan semua pihak yang pernah deal dgn my manager sebelum ni. he’s my friend, and i trust him so much to handle this thing tanpa betul2 crosscheck kualiti kerja dia. end up banyak orang ada bad experience dgn dia selama ni

Selepas setahun setengah beroperasi, alhamdulillah hari ni jualan Sambal Nyet telah mencecah 1,000,000 botol dan menjadikan total sales sambal Rm 14 juta ringgit. Kita juga baru tambah kilang kedua seluas 22,000 sqft di Kelantan yg akan beroperasi tak lama lagi 🙏🏻 (Thread):
awal januari tahun lepas kita bermula dengan 10,000 botol semasa first launching. Time ni sangat huru hara, nak packing 10,000 botol ni ambil masa 10 hari. kita cuma ada space kecil sebab sewa lot kedai sebelah kedai runcit
3 bulan kemudian kita reach jualan Rm1 juta yang pertama. Sales yang kita dapat ni kita rolling untuk buka kilang pertama seluas 14,000 sqft. Time ni pun kita masih blur sbb first time buka kilang. Salah beli mesin, salah setup flow, macam2 silap kita buat

Selepas genap setahun Sambal Nyet dilancarkan, alhamdulillah kita berjaya cecah jualan RM 7.5 juta ringgit. Sekarang kilang sambal nyet seluas 14,000 sqft telah pun siap renovation and finally ready untuk aku tunjuk kat korang. Welcome guys to our first Townhall🙇‍♂️🙏🏻 [Thread] :
Dari 6 Jan 2021 ke 6 Jan 2022 kita berjaya jual dalam 540,000 botol Sambal Nyet yang bersamaan dengan jualan RM 7.5 juta. Sehingga hari ni 2 Mar 2022, jumlah ini telah naik ke 621,800 botol bersamaan dengan sales RM 8.6 Juta.
Bermula dengan R&D memasak di rumah, ke lot kedai dan ke kilang seluas 14,000 sqft ni, banyak benda yang aku belajar. Mula-mula berat hati nak bina kilang sendiri sebab ramai suggest untuk hire OEM untuk buat produk. Tapi sebab aku nak belajar A-Z, ini risiko yang kena ambil

tips pasca banjir:

1. cuci bilik tidur dahulu. you need a clean and comfortable space untuk tidur dan rehat sbb proses cuci akan ambil masa seminggu

2. jangan terus hidupkan alatan elektronik yg dah tenggelam walaupun dah kering

3. cuci brg2 yang ada fabrik dahulu mcm carpet,
sejadah, pakaian, sebelum dia mula jadi keras sbb lumpur. barang2 mcm pinggan mangkuk, tupperware tu last sekali pun takpe

4. kalau ada tilam yg mmg dh berbau teruk and tak boleh pakai, letak dulu depan rumah. pls jangan bakar tilam tu, asap hitam busuk keluar nanti
5. keluarkan sampah dari parit depan rumah supaya air cucian boleh mula mengalir

6. kalau nak cat balik dinding and ada duit lebih, invest kat cat minyak. kalau terjadi lg banjir inshaAllah tak melekat sgt “water mark”

bila terjadinya pandemik, semua orang terpaksa lalui fasa perubahan teknologi. cikgu terpaksa mengajar guna webcam, office buat meeting guna webcam, orang jual bundle buat live streaming guna camera, fitness coach buat class pun guna webcam jgk
tapi problem bila guna webcam ni, orang assume cara bercakap depan camera ni sama mcm bercakap depan2 in real life. tapi sebenarnya dia jadi sangat2 challenging kalau you dont know how to manage the communication

Sebagai seorang content creator, in order to have a long relationship with clients, and make sure both sides dapat win-win situations, this is what i do (Thread) :
1. First and foremost, product or service tu aku sendiri kena guna and suka, baru i proceed to promote. It is unethical to promote and claim something is good kalau you sendiri tak pernah guna benda tu. Because people spend their hard earned money to follow your endorsement
2. Once agreed, I akan tanya client what is their expectation and apa end goal dia nak dari campaign tu. Dia nak org beli barang tu (call to action), nak org kenal brand dia (brand awareness), atau dia nak sampaikan sesuatu message (mcm CSR etc)
