Dr. Vergara on vaccine hesitancy of Filipinos: We have to push more education to reach herd immunity. My message to our kababayans, get the vaccine (for COVID-19).
Dr. Vergara: In Oplan Alis Disease, we use six vaccines and immunized 24 million Filipinos in just two days.
Dr. Vergara: If we receive our vaccines, we may achieve a 100% immunization for COVID-19. If it is a supply issue, three years is a long time for full vaccination of Filipinos.
Dr. Vergara recommends the current COVID-19 vaccination team in the gov't to get involved every societal sectors.
Dr. Vergara: Keep politics away. Everyone in gov't didn't butt in. It proved to be vital. I'm glad the President and his family will not have a priority in the vaccination.
Dr. Vergara: We have to be efficient in our vaccination. With proper resource mobilization, we can fully vaccinate Filipinos this year.
